Welcome,
At the Lung Health and Immunity Lab (Campo Lab), we combine cutting-edge immunology, microbiology, and systems biology to study host-pathogen interactions in the human lung. Using single-cell and multi-omics approaches, we map immune states, uncover therapeutic targets, and work to explain why some people get sick while others stay well.
We are part of the Center for Immunology and the Division of Pulmonary, Allergy, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine at the University of Minnesota. We are deeply committed to excellence in research and to training the next generation of scientists from diverse backgrounds.
We partner with local Twin Cities communities to connect science with public health by sharing knowledge, inviting participation in research, and listening to community priorities to ensure our work meets real-world needs. Join us in advancing knowledge, building partnerships, and creating a healthier future for all.
